Larger Than Life Advertising

Mark Batterson recently shared on his blog the following creative advertising from Plum Creek Community Church (Castle Rock, CO):

Plum Creek Community Church's creative advertising

One thing is certain, any giant box of popcorn on the side of the street is sure to get attention. I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of great things coming from Plum Creek Community Church.

    Thanks for the props.

The picture you have of our float is after it had been through the Douglas County Fair and an out for a night before our first service. It actually looked pretty sweet in the parade. We are meeting in a theater so we decided to go with a theater theme. We also handed out microwave popcorn with our logo imprinted on the bags. We had a great response. This picture is of the float sitting on the road next to the theater.

We are excited about what God is doing at Plum Creek. We have been having monthly services until January when we will go weekly. God is blessing in huge ways. We have a long way to go but we are having a blast.

I have your same feeling, “there are great things coming”. Thanks again for spotlighting us and thanks as well for your prayers.

    Doug, Lead Pastor
