Ben Arment’s STORY Conference

STORY

Ben Arment is putting together another fresh ministry conference called STORY (Chicago, IL) at the Paramount Theater on October 28, 2009. It has been a year since he debuted his first conference creation, The Whiteboard Sessions.

STORY conference is quite different though. It has a Q conference vibe with a focus on creatively telling the greatest story ever told – the gospel. Speakers include Nancy Beach, Mike Foster, Dave Gibbons, Donald Miller, Chris Seay, Stacy Spencer, and Ed Young. The following day, workshops led by artists, scholars, authors, and communications experts will be held at Orchard Valley Community Church (Aurora, IL).

And if you go to STORY, you should consider coming a day early to attend the Cultivate Conference.

  1. Quite strange reading this post. I will certainly read this book book if I can lay my hands on it, not to learn so much about leadership but the reasons for the turnaround made by the man.

  2. Sorry, I have commented in the wrong posts.
There is a red line which I understood to mean was the termination of the previous post.

This is one of the most interesting blogs I have come across and for some reason it is classified as a home business blog.

Creatively telling the story of the gospel, this in itself seems to be creative. I hope someone is able to make it into song. Music is what I like most in churches that I have occaisonally visited.

  3. Dr. Stacy Spencer is one of the greatest expository preacher I’ve heard in a while. He uses the Big Idea of expository preaching that Dr. Haddon W. Robinson shares in his book Biblical Preaching when he preached at my church. I was really impressed with him and hopefully he will come back and do our conference, “Keys To Life”.

Wise selection in a speaker and I pray for the Story conference.
